Carbonprint Museum is a special pigment ink for printing black and white photos, matched to the printheads of a photo or large format printer of Epson®.
For the use of pigment-based carbonprint inks in Ecotank printers, we have formulated the product completely new. With this new variant of carbonprint, Ecotank printers can be created in the simplest way, for excellent, long term stable art prints.
Carbonprint Museum is based on 100% carbon pigments, without the addition of color pigments. It may be one of the longest lasting inkset ever made for photography printing. Carbonprint Museum is therefore the perfect solution for photographers with a fondness for matte papers and printouts in a naturally warm black tone. Because of the warm tone of carbon pigments, the tone of the resulting printouts ranges from neutral warm to almost sepia. Prints on high white paper, are slightly warm, by using paper with a warmer paper white, the printouts will be also warmer. Carbonprint Museum is compatible to matte photo and fine art papers without any gloss coating.
How to print with EcoTank printer?
The user fills his unused new printer with the Carbonprint inks. The printer's ink tanks should be clean and must not have contained any colored ink before. After all tanks have been filled and the printer has been set up, printing can begin immediately. The device is now ready for FineArt prints with Carbonprint. Send an image file to the printer as a desaturated RGB or grayscale file and it will be output as a rich black and white image. You don't have to learn complicated software, print your photos the way you are used to.
