These pre-filled ink cartridges can flush your printer's ink path and printhead. These are standard ink cartridge housings that are filled with the cleaning liquid CLEAN: RED, a cleaner specially developed for piezo print heads.

IMPORTANT!

Cleaning cartridges are only capable of removing clogs caused by dried ink or pigment deposits. They cannot repair electrical faults, damaged nozzles, defective dampers, faulty pump assemblies, or any other mechanical or technical defects of the printer. This cleaning product includes detailed installation and operating instructions, available as a download.

Please understand that we are unable to provide telephone or written technical support or individual troubleshooting assistance for printhead problems on large-format printers. The supplied instructions describe the installation and proper use of the product. If the problem extends beyond these instructions or cannot be resolved with a cleaning cartridge, please contact a qualified printer service provider or a suitably trained technician.

Important Information

Please note that the printer models listed above use ink lines between the ink cartridges and the printhead. These lines are filled with ink. After installing a cleaning cartridge, it therefore takes some time before the cleaning fluid reaches the printhead. This requires that at least some nozzles in the affected ink channel are still open. Likewise, after reinstalling an ink cartridge, it will take some time before ink reaches the printhead again.

If an ink channel is completely blocked so that no ink is deposited at all in the corresponding color field of the nozzle check, a cleaning cartridge will generally not be able to resolve the problem.

When using and recognizing compatible (third-party) cartridges in the Epson® SC-P6000, SC-P7000, SC-P8000, and SC-P9000 printer models, the ink level indicator for the corresponding ink channel is disabled. The actual ink consumption continues to be tracked internally but is no longer displayed. The printer will therefore stop with an appropriate message once the internal counter reaches the equivalent ink consumption of a 700 ml cartridge. After installing an original Epson cartridge, the ink level indicator is automatically reactivated.
